Agency Blocks
Global blocks you share and synchronise across multiple websites.
What are Agency Blocks?
Agency Blocks are reusable blocks at agency level. Unlike regular blocks that exist per page, Agency Blocks live centrally and can be linked to multiple websites.
Examples:
• A standard footer with contact details
• A CTA banner you want to show on all client sites
• A header with your agency branding
Creating an Agency Block
Click "New block" and fill in:
1. Name – A recognisable name (e.g. "Standard Footer")
2. Description – Brief explanation of the block's purpose
After creating, the visual editor opens where you can design the block's content.
Editing a block
The editor works the same as the page editor: drag components, adjust texts and images, and save.
Each change automatically increments the block's version number.
Tips
- Use Agency Blocks for content that must be identical across multiple sites.
- Changes to an Agency Block only become visible on linked sites after synchronisation.
Linking to websites
In the block settings you'll see a list of linked sites. You can:
• Add sites to the link
• Remove sites from the link
• See which version each site is using
Linked sites automatically use the latest version of the block.
Note
- If you modify a block linked to many sites, check that the change is desired everywhere.
Setting lock levels
Lock levels determine how much freedom site editors have to customise an Agency Block on their site.
There are 3 levels:
• Fully locked — the block cannot be edited on the site. Only the central version applies.
• Partially locked — the structure is fixed, but texts and images may be changed.
• Unlocked — the block may be fully customised on the site (changes are not synced back).
To set the lock level:
1. Open the Agency Block in the editor
2. Click the lock icon in the top right
3. Choose the desired level
4. Save — the lock level applies to all linked sites
Tips
- Use 'fully locked' for legal texts or compliance blocks that must be identical everywhere.
- Use 'partially locked' for footers where only the phone number differs per location.
Note
- If you change a block from 'unlocked' to 'locked', local customisations on sites will be overwritten at the next sync.
