Create custom components with AI: describe what you need and let a unique block be generated.
What are AI Custom Blocks?
AI Custom Blocks are custom components generated by AI from a simple prompt. Instead of choosing from standard blocks, you describe what you need and the AI creates a unique component tailored to you.
The difference with standard blocks: standard blocks are pre-designed with fixed options. Custom blocks are specifically generated based on your description, with unique layouts, colors and content.
Tips
- Custom blocks are ideal for unique sections that don't fit the standard blocks.
- You can combine custom blocks with standard blocks on the same page.
Creating a custom block
1. Open the page editor
2. Click 'Create custom block' (or the + icon → Custom Block)
3. Describe what you want in the text field (e.g. 'A pricing table with 3 columns for Basic, Pro and Enterprise')
4. Choose the desired density (compact, normal or spacious)
5. Click 'Generate'
6. Review the result in the preview
7. Click 'Add' to place the block on your page
Tips
- Be specific in your prompt: 'A team overview with round photos and LinkedIn links' works better than 'a team section'.
- Use short, clear sentences for the best result.
Comparing variants
When generating, the AI creates three variants of your custom block. Each variant has a slightly different style or layout.
You can review all three variants in the preview and choose the best one. Click on a variant to select it and see how it looks on your page.
Not satisfied? Click 'Regenerate' for three new variants, or adjust your prompt for a different result.
Tips
- Compare the variants on both desktop and mobile before choosing.
- You can always choose a different variant or regenerate later.
Managing custom blocks
Saving as a reusable block:
After generating, you can save a custom block so you can reuse it on other pages. Click 'Save as template' in the block menu.
Finding your blocks in 'My Custom Blocks':
All your saved custom blocks can be found via the + menu → My Custom Blocks. Here you can add them to any page again.
Deleting:
No longer need a custom block? Delete it via the block menu → 'Delete'. Saved templates can be managed in My Custom Blocks.
Tips
- Give your saved blocks a clear name so you can find them easily.
Style transformations
With style transformations you can adjust the appearance of your custom block with one click. No need to regenerate.
Available transformations:
• Change color scheme — Adjust the colors to your brand
• Flip layout — Switch the position of text and image
• Adjust spacing — Make the block more compact or spacious
• Round corners — Add or remove rounded corners
• Add shadow — Add depth with shadows
Tips
- Transformations are immediately visible in the preview.
- You can combine multiple transformations.
Frequently asked questions
How many custom blocks can I create?
This depends on your plan. On the Starter plan you can generate 10 custom blocks per month. On the Pro plan 50. On the Business plan unlimited.
Can I use a custom block on multiple pages?
Yes. Save the block as a template and add it to any page you want.
Are custom blocks safe?
Yes. All generated code is validated and sanitized. No harmful code can end up on your website.
Can I edit the HTML/code?
No. Custom blocks are managed through the editor fields. Direct code editing is not possible to ensure security and stability.
