Branding
Customise the CMS appearance with your own brand.
White-label branding
Make the CMS fully your own with white-label branding:
• Logo – Upload your agency logo (appears in the header and on the login page)
• Favicon – The icon in the browser tab
• Primary colour – The main colour of the CMS interface
• "Powered by" badge – Optionally show or hide
Tips
- Upload your logo as PNG or SVG with transparent background.
- Branding is also applied to the Client Portal and emails to clients.
Configuring branding
Go to Settings → Branding (or Agency settings). Upload your logo, set your primary colour and save. Changes are immediately visible to all users of your agency.
Email sender setup
Under Email branding you can set how your agency emails appear to recipients:
• Sender name – The name recipients see (e.g. "Agency Smith")
• Reply-to address – Where replies are sent (e.g. info@agencysmith.com)
• Email logo – Your logo at the top of every email
• Footer text – Text at the bottom of every email
Emails are securely sent through our platform with high deliverability. No own SMTP server required.
Tips
- The sender name and reply-to address are used immediately for all platform emails (welcome emails, password resets, etc.).
- Recipients see your agency name as sender — not the platform address.
Advanced: custom domain or SMTP
For agencies wanting full control, there are two advanced options:
1. Custom domain verification (DKIM/SPF/DMARC)
→ Emails come from @yourdomain.com
→ Requires DNS changes
→ Configure per site via Site Settings → Email Sender
2. Custom SMTP server
→ All emails go through your server
→ Configure via Agency Settings → Email (SMTP)
These options are optional. The default platform delivery works fine for most agencies.
Note
- With custom SMTP you are responsible for deliverability and SPF/DKIM configuration.
Custom domain as branded CMS address
You can connect your own (sub)domain as a CMS address for your agency. This way your clients log in at e.g. cms.yourbusiness.com instead of optimocms.com.
Go to Agency Settings → Branding → Branded URLs → "Connect custom domain".
1. Enter your desired domain name (e.g. cms.yourbusiness.com or admin.client.com)
2. Click "Connect"
3. You'll receive a CNAME instruction — set this up at your domain registrar
4. DNS status is checked automatically
Once the status shows "Connected", your custom domain works as a fully branded login page with your logo, colours and branding.
Tips
- Use a subdomain like cms.yourbusiness.com — this way you can keep your main domain for your own website.
- SSL certificates are automatically created and renewed.
- DNS changes are usually active within a few minutes.
Note
- If you disconnect the domain, your clients can no longer log in via that address. They will be redirected to optimocms.com.
