Domains
Connect your own domain name to a website.
Connecting a domain
Go to a site's settings → Domain. Enter your desired domain name (e.g. "mywebsite.com").
The system automatically creates an SSL certificate. You'll receive a CNAME instruction to set up at your domain registrar.
Tips
- SSL certificates are automatically created and renewed.
- After setting up DNS records, it usually takes less than a minute.
Configuring DNS
Go to your domain registrar (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare) and create a CNAME record:
• Type: CNAME
• Name: @ or www (depending on your setup)
• Value: the value shown by the CMS
After setup, the system automatically verifies your domain and activates SSL.
Domain status
In the domain settings you see the current status:
• Not set up – No domain connected yet
• Pending – DNS records are being verified
• Connected – Domain active with SSL
If there are problems, instructions are shown to resolve them.
DNS management
For domains registered through the CMS and running on Cloudflare, a DNS management panel automatically appears below the domain settings.
Here you can see all DNS records for the domain and:
• View existing records (type, name, value, TTL, proxy status)
• Create new CNAME, A, AAAA, TXT or MX records
• Edit or delete your own records
Records with a red border are crucial for the CMS to function properly (website, email). These cannot be edited or deleted.
Tips
- Use this panel to add custom CNAME records for bespoke solutions, without needing support requests.
- Records with a red border are protected: they ensure your website and email work correctly.
- The DNS panel is only visible for domains registered through the CMS.
Note
- Never remove or modify records with a red border – this can make your website or email unreachable.
- DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate globally.
