Email

View your mailboxes, set up forwarding and configure your mail client.

Your mailboxes

If your admin has set up email hosting for your website, you'll find an overview of your mailboxes under Email. For each mailbox you can see: • The email address (e.g. info@yourbusiness.com) • The display name • The status (active) These mailboxes were created by your admin and are ready to use.

Viewing mailbox password

For each mailbox you can reveal the password by clicking the eye icon next to "Password". This is the password you need to set up the mailbox in your mail client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, etc.).
Tips
  • Store your password in a safe place, such as a password manager.

Setting up forwarding

For each mailbox you can forward emails to one or more external addresses. How to set up forwarding: 1. Click the arrow next to a mailbox to open forwarding settings 2. Add one or more email addresses to forward messages to 3. Turn on "Keep copy" if you want messages to also stay in the mailbox 4. Click Save
Tips
  • Handy if you also want to receive messages in your personal mailbox (e.g. Gmail).
  • You can set up to 10 forwarding addresses per mailbox.

Setting up a mail client (IMAP/SMTP)

To use your mailbox in an email program (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, iPhone, Android), use these settings: Incoming mail (IMAP): • Server: the mail server (see CMS) • Port: 993 • Security: SSL/TLS • Username: your full email address • Password: your mailbox password Outgoing mail (SMTP): • Server: the mail server (see CMS) • Port: 465 • Security: SSL/TLS • Username: your full email address • Password: same password
Tips
  • Always choose IMAP (not POP3) so your mail stays synced across all your devices.
  • On iPhone/Android: go to Settings → Accounts → Add account → Other/IMAP.

IMAP migration (transferring email)

If your admin has granted you migration permission, you can transfer existing emails from another email account to your new mailbox. How it works: 1. Go to the migration section on the Email page 2. Choose your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud or generic IMAP) 3. Enter the login credentials for your old mailbox 4. Click "Test connection" to verify the credentials 5. Click "Start migration" to begin the transfer The migration runs in the background. You can track progress on the Email page.
Tips
  • Gmail users: you need an app-specific password (not your regular Google password).
  • Migration only copies emails – contacts and calendar items are not transferred.
Note
  • Migration is only available if your admin has enabled this permission for your account.
