Email filters
Automatically sort, forward, or flag incoming emails based on rules.
What are email filters?
Email filters (also called rules) automatically process incoming emails. You can:
• Move emails to a folder
• Forward to another address
• Flag with a marker
• Mark as read
• Discard (delete)
Filters are checked in order – the first match wins.
Creating a filter
How to create a new filter:
1. Go to Email and click on a mailbox
2. Open the "Filters" tab
3. Click "Add filter"
4. Give the filter a name
5. Set at least 1 condition (e.g. "Sender contains @newsletter.com")
6. Choose an action (e.g. "Move to Newsletters folder")
7. Click Save
Tips
- Filters run automatically on new incoming emails.
- Spam is caught before your filters run – you won't see junk here.
- Filters don't apply to emails already in your mailbox.
Managing filters
On the "Filters" tab you see all your filters in priority order. For each filter you can:
• Enable/disable with the toggle
• Edit by clicking the pencil icon
• Delete with the trash icon
• Reorder by dragging
Note
- Filters are only available if your admin has enabled this permission for your account.
- Maximum 10 filters per mailbox.
