Site Blueprints
Complete website templates for quickly setting up new sites.
What are Site Blueprints?
A Site Blueprint is a complete website template you can use as a starting point when creating a new site. A blueprint contains:
• Pages with pre-configured layouts
• A navigation structure
• Site settings (colours, font, etc.)
• A link to a Block Library
• A thumbnail for recognition
Creating a blueprint
Click "New blueprint" and fill in:
1. Name – A recognisable name (e.g. "Restaurant Starter")
2. Block Library – Choose which component library the blueprint uses
3. Thumbnail – Upload an image that visually represents the blueprint
Then you can define pages, navigation and settings.
Tips
- Create blueprints for the industries you most frequently build sites for.
- A good thumbnail helps quickly identify the right blueprint.
Using a blueprint
When creating a new site you can choose a blueprint. The site is then automatically set up with all pages, navigation and settings from the blueprint.
You can still adjust everything afterwards – the blueprint is just the starting point.
Tips
- Combine blueprints with the AI Website Generator for even faster results.
- Each blueprint has a version number so you can track improvements.
Updating a blueprint
A blueprint can be updated after creation. Changes to a blueprint do not affect sites that were already created with it — only new sites use the updated version.
To update a blueprint:
1. Open the blueprint in the editor
2. Adjust pages, navigation or settings
3. Increment the version number (patch, minor or major)
4. Save and publish
The version number helps you track which improvements have been made.
Tips
- Keep a changelog of what you changed per version, so your team knows what's new.
- Test an updated blueprint by creating a test site with it before sharing it with your team.
Note
- Existing sites are not automatically updated when you modify the blueprint. Only new sites receive the new version.
